How to remove your data
You can remove all of your RelayU data: your Instagram connection, stored access token, business setup, conversations, and message logs, at any time. Pick whichever method is easiest for you.
Delete in RelayU settingsFastest
- Sign in to the dashboard at relayu.app/login.
- Open Settings and go to the Workspace tab.
- Under Delete account and data, type DELETE and confirm.
This permanently erases your business profile, every conversation and message, your Instagram connection and stored token, your push-notification tokens, and your RelayU login. It cannot be undone. (Disconnecting Instagram only unlinks the account; it does not erase stored data.)
Remove RelayU from Instagram
- Open the Instagram app and tap your profile.
- Tap the menu (☰) → Settings and activity.
- Scroll to Business tools and controls → Connected tools.
- Tap RelayU → Remove.
Instagram notifies us automatically when you remove the app. We delete your data within 24 hours and revoke all stored credentials.
Email us
If you do not have access to either account, email support@relayu.app from the address tied to your RelayU account with the subject Delete my data. Include the Instagram username of the connected account. We respond within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your business record (Instagram user ID, username, access token).
- All conversations, messages, and send logs tied to that business.
- Any push-notification device tokens registered for your account.
Backup snapshots may retain copies for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten on the standard backup rotation.
